The department provides basic design and detailed engineering for static and rotating equipment as well as packaged systems.

The department capabilities include following equipments:

• Fabricated equipments (shell and tube heat exchangers, air-cooled heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, reactors, storage tanks etc)
• Rotating equipments (reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, gas turbines, pumps, gas and diesel engines etc)
• Packaged equipments (instrument air and Utility air system, oil and gas dehydration systems, nitrogen generation system, flare system, gas sweetening system etc
• Compression modules/ water injection pumps/turbo-generators for off-shore platforms
• Turbo-compressor packages and main line pump sets for oil/gas pipelines
• Flare stacks, conditioning packages, and material handling equipment

The department also assists with

• Inspection and testing of key plant equipments at vendor works
• Vendor drawing checking and approval
