E-Engineering department’s expertise revolves around leveraging the latest IT tools and use of the design (CAD) data to create documents that capture different types of design information that is used by manufacturing, assembly shop, quality, sales and service.
Department also has programming capabilities to create sub-routines used for automating small design activities and in managing PLM implementations.
Department has experienced personnel who conceptualize the scope of these sub-routines to benefit the customer in terms of cost/ time savings, reducing errors and help them in their initiatives related to maximizing use of design data and standardization.
- Engineering animations - Creation of animated assembly and dismantling sequences for
- Product assemblies (for doing assembly in production)
- Service and installation manuals (during servicing)
- Jigs/fixtures/gauges (while component manufacturing)
- Technical Documentation - Modification and creation of
- Dealer and customer manuals
- Parts catalogue with exploded images and related database
- Technical specifications
- Product presentation and working principles - Creation of self running presentations for explaining
- Product details and configurations
- Working of product and its aggregates
- Process sheets - Components - It involves step-by-step documentation of manufacturing stages of a component. Documentation for each stage captures
- Component shape and dimension
- Critical dimensions with their inspection frequencies
- Fixtures/ gauges/ tools used
- Process sheets - Assembly - Step-by-step documentation of assembly stages of a component.
- Documentation for each stage captures
- Exploded views with bill of material
- Critical assembly dimensions
- Assembly Fixtures/ gauges/ tools used
- Product life cycle management (PLM) - Managing and monitoring different workflows of a product lifecycle like
- Engineering design change
- Manufacturing process change
- New product introduction
- Engineering outsourcing
- New tooling development (proto and production)
